Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Deaf Bible Society ("DBS," "we," "us," or "our") for your use of DCW Live, including Live Now, Explore, Schedule, watch pages, stream playback, and related public pages (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and AI & Data Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

DCW Live is a viewer-only product. It helps people find and watch published live streams and recordings from Deaf churches. Features may include:

• Live Now — streams that are on air
• Explore — published recordings
• Schedule — upcoming and current sessions by day
• Watch views with stream details and video playback

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for lawful personal viewing of published streams and related public information, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, download for redistribution, re-broadcast, frame, scrape, or commercially exploit streams, thumbnails, titles, metadata, or other content from Live except as expressly allowed in writing by DBS or as required by law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in any way that violates law or these Terms
• Interfere with or disrupt Live, the streaming gateway, or related systems
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, APIs, admin tools, or partner systems
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download stream media, metadata, or page content
• Use Live content to train AI or machine-learning systems without our written permission (see the AI & Data Use Policy)
• Misrepresent affiliation with DBS, Deaf Church Where, or any church

Stream video, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and church display information are provided by churches, partners, and/or DBS. Live is a distribution surface for published public content. Ownership of that content remains with the respective rights holders.

The DCW Live name, branding, and site design are owned by Deaf Bible Society or its licensors. You may not use our marks without permission.

If you believe content on Live infringes your rights, contact [email protected] with enough detail for us to investigate. Church partners who need to change published streams should use their editor tools in Partners or other approved systems.

The Services may use or link to third parties such as Cloudflare Stream (video delivery), hosting and CDN providers, church image hosting, and other Deaf Church Where products including the map and Partners. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of those services is between you and the third party.

We aim to keep Live available, but streams, playback, and pages may be interrupted, delayed, or changed without notice. Published content can appear or disappear when partners publish or unpublish in external systems. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DBS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that every stream will play on every device, that listings are complete or error-free, or that Live will meet every need.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DBS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may suspend or block access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are harming Live, our users, or our partners. You may stop using Live at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law applies.
